- 2 teaspoons salt
- 3/4 cup unbleached or all-purpose flour, separated according to instructions
- 1/4 cup butter
- 2 cups apples, finely chopped
- 1 cup brown sugar, lightly packed
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon unbleached or all-purpose flour
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
- 1 tablespoon butter, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 tablespoons milk
- 1/2 cup pecans, chopped
- Heat the milk and butter in the microwave until warm and the butter is melted, give it a stir. Add the sugar and stir. Pour in the yeast, stir again and set aside for 5-10 minutes, or until foamy on top. Then mix in the beaten room temperature egg.
