Spaghetti Soup

Usually everyone enjoys pasta in all shapes and sizes and spaghetti is often a meal everyone can agree on. Now you can make delicious Spaghetti Soup. Take some store bought frozen meatballs or bake some homemade meatballs to add to this soup. If you’re using frozen meatballs prepare them according to package directions. Take a large pot and pour in chicken broth, marinara sauce, add a bay leaf and 3 cups of water over medium heat and bring to a boil. Stir in spaghetti and the meatballs, reduce the heat and boil until the spaghetti is done about 10 -12 minutes. Serve right away with basil garnish and Parmesan.

Best Every Spaghetti Bolognese is delicious and easy to prepare. Take a wide pan with a lid and heat 3 tablespoons of olive oil. Add the pancetta (Italian bacon) diced and cook until it is golden. Then add ground beef and cook until its browned breaking it up in the pan. After add pork sausages that have been skinned and are in pieces and cook breaking up the sausage into smaller pieces just like the ground beef. Then add chopped onions, crushed garlic, diced celery, and grated carrots. Stir all the ingredients together and cover the pan and cook on low heat until the veggies are softer and keep stirring for about 10 minutes. Then add the cherry tomatoes, tomato puree and chicken stock. Bring it all to a simmer, cover and cook for one hour. Then add basil and cook another 5 minutes. While it is cooking boil the spaghetti and drain. Toss it with the sauce and spoon into bowls. Serve with Parmesan.

*If you prefer this recipe for Spaghetti Bolognese can be made in a slow cooker. Heat olive oil in a wide pan with a lid, add the pancetta, cooking until golden, add the ground beef breaking it up until browned. Then add the sausage pieces and cook it also breaking it up like the ground beef. At this point place it all into a slow cooker and add all the other ingredients and only 100ml of chicken stock. Cook on the high setting for 5 hours and stir in the basil at the end. Serve over spaghetti.

Crock Pot Spaghetti is easy to make in your crock pot. Just take a large skillet and heat some olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and chopped onion and cook until they are translucent about 7 minutes. Add them to the slow cooker. In the same skillet on high heat add ground beef and cook breaking it up in pieces until browned and add to slow cooker. Turn the heat under the skillet down to medium and add red wine then bring to a simmer while scrapping off the browned meat bits in the skillet. Once combined pour the mixture into the slow cooker and add remaining ingredients. Cook on low for 6 hours. Boil the spaghetti according to package directions and reserve one cup of the pasta water before draining the pasta. Return the pasta to the pot and add 2 ½ – 3 cups of Bolognese sauce and ½ cup reserved pasta liquid.  Toss over medium heat or until the sauce has thickened and has coated the spaghetti.

Dead Good Spaghetti Carbonara is a really delicious pasta meal. Cook the pasta according to package directions. In the meantime melt some butter in a frying pan and add shallots, garlic and chopped bacon cooking for 5 – 7 minutes until golden. Turn off the heat and set aside. Take eggs, cream, most of the parmesan and lots of freshly ground pepper and beat together. Once the spaghetti is done drain it in a colander. Then place the spaghetti in the frying pan, off the heat and add the shallot and egg mixtures together and toss it all well. Place into serving bowls, serve with the rest of the Parmesan and extra freshly ground pepper.

One Pot Spaghetti is a very delicious pasta meal and easy to make. Take a large pot and heat some olive oil. When it’s hot add the ground beef and salt and cook breaking up the meat into pieces for about 3 – 4 minutes. Add diced onions and minced garlic and cook until softened about 3 – 4 minutes. Then add the crushed tomatoes, black pepper, water and basil and cook for another 5 minutes. Add the spaghetti making sure the liquid covers everything without stirring. Cook over medium heat until the water is absorbed and the spaghetti  is ready about 17 minutes. Serve with grated Parmesan cheese.
