My family are all seriously into food and baking is a love we all share. When I’m back at my parent’s house, I love to bake with them (mainly because they’re better than me!), so whilst at home this weekend, my brother and I made these incredible Slutty Blondie Brownies.
This absolutely amazing dessert consists of a layer of gooey cookie dough on the bottom, then a layer of Golden Oreo’s followed by a big thick layer of golden brownies (blondies) with white chocolate chips.

You’ll need a sweet tooth for these but I have to say, they are absolutely delicious!
It’s an American recipe so everything is measured in cups. If you don’t have a ‘cup measurer’, I highly recommend them. I have bright, colourful ones, you can buy them here and they’re currently in the sale.

Ingredients
Brownie layer:

  • 1/2 cup butter 
  • 1 cup dark brown sugar 
  • 2 tsp of vanilla 
  • 1 egg 
  • 1 cup self raising flour 
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder 
  • 1/4 tsp salt 
  • 1/8 tsp of baking soda 
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips

Oreo layer:
1 pack of Golden Oreos
Cookie Dough layer:

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (at room temp) 
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar 
  • 3/4 cup white sugar 
  • 1 egg 
  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract 
  • 1 1/4 cup plain flour 
  • 1/2 tsp salt 
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda 
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder 

Instructions

  • Pre-heat the oven to 180 degrees celcius.
  • Line the bottom of a 9×9 baking tin
  • Start with the Brownie layer:
  • Over heat, melt the butter and transfer into a larger mixing bowl. Add the brown sugar and whisk to combine. Add the vanilla and egg and whisk until it’s completely mixed together.
  • In another bowl mix together the dry ingredients, flour, baking powder, salt, and baking soda.
  • Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients until it’s completely mixed together, try to fold in the ingredients as you don’t want to ruin all the air you’ve whisked into the mixture.
