I am surprised at how good this was!! I’ve always been a griller, but broiling is a great way to cook a steak indoors in the winter. So healthy, too!

Followed the recipe. Discovered the steak could use some more flavor. It came out pretty bland. I will make this again but season the steak with something or a marinade.

I followed the directions exactly- it was very easy but we thought that the meat and broccoli were pretty bland. I will definitely make it again because of ease, but next time we’ll use Mrs Dash or some other kind of seasoning.

This was so easy. Again i only used veggies my family likes. I used breakfest steak strips, but coated with olive oil, fresh garlic and sea salt pan fried for 3/5 mines each side then baked with veggies for 10 min.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 pounds baby red potatoes
  • 16 ounces broccoli florets*
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 2 pounds (1-inch-thick) top sirloin steak, patted dry

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Preheat oven to broil. Lightly oil a baking sheet or coat with nonstick spray.
  2. In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook potatoes until parboiled for 12-15 minutes; drain well.
