- 1 egg white
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup milk
- 6 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
- 3 tbsp salted butter
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1/2 cup salted butter
- 4 cups powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup + 2 tbsp cocoa
- 5-6 tbsp water or milk
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Whisk together flour, cocoa, sugar, baking soda and baking powder in a large mixing bowl.
- Add butter, egg white, egg, vanilla, sour cream and milk to the dry ingredients and mix on medium speed just until smooth. Do not over mix.
